Rectangle area formula
A = width / 1
Area equals width times height — independent of the unit chosen, as long as both sides use the same unit.
- Both sides are converted to meters before the calculation; the breakdown shows the area in m² as the primary number.
- Width and height may use different units (e.g. meters × feet) — each side is converted to meters independently, so the result is always correct in m².
